WHAT IS YOUR FINANCIAL PLAN B

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I am a strong advocate of Plan "B".
It is ignorance to limit yourself to one stream of income.

It is more annoying when that one source of income is ACTIVE.

There are 2 types of income: Active & Passive. (I can lecture you on that for free)

My plan B gives me the two most important factors in human growth and development: Information & Contacts!

I have seen market women, uneducated people and the elites earn big and drive brand new cars courtesy of my plan B company.
It takes just N6,600 donation to start.

With this one off donation, you help the less privileged and you also earn.

Just few hours ago, 12 of my partners earned their brand New 2016 Hyundai Elantra cars in Calabar.

Check them out here.

BIBLE IN A YEAR: NUMBERS 18:1-20:9 AND PSALMS 145:1-13

MESSAGE

The Word of God has creative power. According to our Bible reading for today, the power in the Word of God created space where there was none. It seemed like there was no space for further creation and the Almighty God wanted to create what now constitutes the present day universe. So the Word created the space ( firmament) between the water and dry land for further creation. The Bible says :
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The same was in the beginning with God.
All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made." John 1:1-3
There are lots of lessons we could learn from this creation story: The Word of God, when allowed to do His work, will always make a way where there is no way and a space where there seemed to be no space. When the Isrealites got to the Red Sea and it seemed like they were stuck between the host of Pharaoh and the Sea, the Lord, through Moses, told them to move on. It takes faith in God to obey such a command, and thank God they did and their obedience paid off, because the Word made na expressway for them to pass through:
"And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward:
But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea." Exodus 14:15-16

Another lesson to be learnt here is ; people of God should always talk to God about their challenges. Moses did this effectively and God spoke at every given time. he became a problem solver because he had from God always. Also when God speaks, a miracle is potentially performed, but its ultimate manifestation is dependent on human agents. We short change ourselves of miracles when we fail to heed the Word of God. We should not forget our positions in the Created Order i.e. Image or God. It was Moses who divided the Sea not God, though under the influence of God's Word. The Word empowered the process by decree, "and the children of Isreal shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea." Settled! My prayer for you is that, as you obey the Word of God this year, you will begin to do the impossible in Jesus' name.

Action Point :
Examine your life and see if there are ways in which you have not been taking heed to God's Word.

What Makes a Good Relationship?

When people first experience falling in love, it often starts as attraction. Sexual feelings can also be a part of this attraction. People at this stage might daydream about a crush or a new BF or GF. They may doodle the person's name or think of their special someone while a particular song is playing.
It sure feels like love. But it's not love yet. It hasn't had time to grow into emotional closeness that's needed for love. Because feelings of attraction and sexual interest are new, and they're directed at a person we want a relationship with, it's not surprising we confuse attraction with love. It's all so intense, exciting, and hard to sort out.
The crazy intensity of the passion and attraction phase fades a bit after a while. Like putting all our energy into winning a race, this kind of passion is exhilarating but far too extreme to keep going forever. If a relationship is destined to last, this is where closeness enters the picture. The early passionate intensity may fade, but a deep affectionate attachment takes its place.
Some of the ways people grow close are:
  • Learning to give and receive. A healthy relationship is about both people, not how much one person can get from (or give to) the other.
  • Revealing feelings. A supportive, caring relationship allows people to reveal details about themselves — their likes and dislikes, dreams and worries, proud moments, disappointments, fears, and weaknesses.
  • Listening and supporting. When two people care, they offer support when the other person is feeling vulnerable or afraid. They don't put down or insult their partner, even when they disagree.
Giving, receiving, revealing, and supporting is a back-and-forth process: One person shares a detail, then the other person shares something, then the first person feels safe enough to share a little more. In this way, the relationship gradually builds into a place of openness, trust, and support where each partner knows that the other will be there when times are tough. Both feel liked and accepted for who they are.
The passion and attraction the couple felt early on in the relationship isn't lost. It's just different. In healthy, long-term relationships, couples often find that intense passion comes and goes at different times. But the closeness is always there.

After weeks of suspense, President Muhammadu Buhari finally appointed Mr. Babachir David Lawal as the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), putting paid to speculation that the office had been zoned to South-east or South-south.
In addition, the president appointed a former Managing Director of United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc and a member of THISDAY Editorial Board, Alhaji Abba Kyari, as his new Chief of Staff.
A statement by the Special Adviser to the President, Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, said Lawal, the new SGF, hails from Hong Local Government Area in Adamawa State.
He graduated from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 1979 with a Bachelor of Engineering degree and worked with the Delta Steel Company, Aladja, Nigerian External Telecommunications Limited and Data Sciences Limited before establishing his own ICT and telecommunications consulting firm in 1990.
He is also a member of the Nigerian Computer Society (NCS), the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) and the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN).
Kyari brings to his new role as the president’s Chief of Staff a wealth of experience in the private sector.
He holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Cambridge and the University of Warwick in Law and Sociology, and has worked with the New Nigeria Development Company (NNDC), New Africa Holdings, African International Bank, UBA, Unilever, and Mobil in various capacities over the years.
Other appointments made by the president included Col. Hameed Ibrahim Ali (rtd.) as the new Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Customs Service (NCS), a departure from the past when comptroller-generals of Customs were usually selected within its ranks.
Ali holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Criminology, and was the Military Administrator of Kaduna State from 1996 to 1998.
Mr. Kure Martin Abeshi has been appointed to take over as the Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS), effectively terminating the appointment of Mr. David Parradang who was suspended by the president last week.
The new comptroller-general of Immigration hails from Nasarawa State. He joined NIS in 1989 as an assistant comptroller. His educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Public Administration.
The president also appointed Senator Ita S.J Enang as his Senior Special Assistant (SSA), National Assembly Matters (Senate), while Hon. Suleiman A. Kawu was made his SSA, National Assembly Matters (House of Representatives).
The statement said all the appointments took effect from on Thursday.
The president also gave a marching order to all civil servants to either shun corruption or be ready to leave the service.
This was disclosed yesterday by the Permanent Secretary, General Services, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr Mohammed Bukar, after the permanent secretaries in the office briefed Buhari.
He said that former military Head of State and the Chairman, Centenary Limited Board, General Abdulsalami Abubakar, would come to brief the president on the activities of the centenary hall project today.
Bukar further disclosed that not a farthing was taken from the account of the federal government for the project.
He said Buhari told the SGF personnel to make sure that all rules, laws and the constitution are strictly adhered to henceforth.
“We have received a mandate to work harder. We will give our best to support the government.
“We told him what we have been doing in support of the government’s policies and the president promised to give us the support and the political will to do our job better,” the permanent secretary told State House correspondents.
